A Plano man who was wanted on two Kendall County warrants for various drug charges was arrested this week in Georgia and was extradited back to the county on Thursday.
According to Kendall County Jail booking records, 24-year-old Shaylan Preston of Foli St. is charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Delivery of or Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
Kendall County Police Assistance Team officials say that officers obtained a search warrant for Preston's home on Jan. 10, 2019.
Upon a search of Preston's home on Jan. 22, officers allegedly found a controlled substance. The type of the controlled substance and and the amount found were not specified by officials.
Following the search warrant execution, Preston allegedly fled to Georgia. Authorities in Georgia took Preston into custody this week, and he was booked into the Kendall County Jail on Thursday.
