Officials with the Plano Police Department are investigating after the operator of a dirt bike allegedly fled an attempted traffic stop on Friday.
According to a report, officers attempted to stop a dirt bike with no registration near the intersection of N. East St. and E. Edgelawn St. at around 7:40 p.m.
The driver of the dirt bike failed to stop after officers activated their emergency lights and siren, leading them on a short pursuit.
Officials say the subject was last seen near the intersection of Lew St. and Rosewood Ave.
The dirt bike was red and white in color. The driver of the bike is described as a white male in his 20s', wearing a red motocross style shirt with a black helmet.
The driver also had a GoPro style camera attached to his helmet.
