At Monday night's Committee of the Whole meeting, the Sandwich City Council will discuss a Plan Commission recommendation to grant a Special Use Permit to allow Outer Beauty Tattoo and Piercing to move from the west side of the Indian Springs Shopping Center to the northeast side.
The Plan Commission voted three to nothing last Tuesday to approve the change. The council is scheduled to vote on the move at its August 26 meeting.
In other business, Sandwich aldermen will hear from Lauterbach and Amen's Wes Levy regarding the July 2019 monthly finance and treasurer's report.
There will also be a discussion the increase in the contributions for the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
City Engineer/Public Works Director Tom Horak will update the Sandwich City Council on the street construction that is supposed to begin this week.
Monday night's meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Annex at 128 E. Railroad St. in Sandwich.
