At last Monday's Sandwich City Council Committee of the Whole meeting, aldermen discussed moving the Audience Comments section from the end to the beginnings of meetings.

Alderman Fred Kreinbrink has been a proponent of the move.  He told the council that most municipalities have the Audience Comments at the beginning of meetings.

Alderman Les Redden said he favored leaving the Audience Comments at the end of Committee of the Whole meetings but moving them up in the agenda for regular Sandwich City Council meetings.

Mayor Rich Robinson weighted in on moving the Audience Comments section of meetings.

The council agreed unanimously on leaving the Audience Comments section at the end of Committee of the Whole meetings and moving the Audience Comments to the beginning of regular council meetings.

Aldermen Pete Dell and Kevin Kelleher were absent.

City Attorney Jessica Harrill said she would draft an ordinance change and have it ready for approval next Monday.
