Newkirk and Associates of Plano will present the 2019 City Audit to the Sandwich City Council at Monday's regular meeting.
The audit has been delayed because of problems with coordination between Newkirk and the city's accounting firm, Lauterbach and Amen of Naperville.
The city was awarded an extension to file its audit by the State of Illinois.
The Sandwich Police Pension Audit will also be a part of Monday's presentation.
In other business at Monday's meeting, City Engineer/Public Works Director Tom Horak will announce that the Sandwich Plan Commission will meet on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers to discuss the zoning of adult use cannabis establishments.
Aldermen voted at the Dec. 9 meeting against prohibiting cannabis sales in Sandwich.
At Monday's meeting, alderwoman Cara Killey will also announce that a Special Meeting will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, to begin preliminary discussions on the proposed 2020-2021 city budget.
Monday's meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Sandwich City Hall Annex at 128 E. Railroad St. in Sandwich.
