A Sandwich man was arrested early Saturday morning after he allegedly refused to leave the emergency room of an area hospital.
According to the Sandwich Police Department, 30-year-old Armando Guzman of Wentworth Dr. is charged with Criminal Trespass.
Officials say an officer was called to Valley West Hospital at around 5:56 a.m. in reference to a subject who was being disruptive and was refusing to leave the emergency room.
Upon arrival, the officer observed Guzman laying in a bed in one of the rooms.
A nurse advised that Guzman had been dropped off by Little Rock Fox Ambulance at around 5:43 a.m., but did not require medical attention.
Guzman was discharged at 5:54 a.m. and was told to leave the property, which he allegedly refused to do.
The hospital signed a trespass complaint, after which Guzman was arrested.
As WSPY has previously reported, Guzman has been arrested by Sandwich PD numerous times in the past two years. Guzman was most recently arrested by Sandwich PD on Aug. 10, 2019 for Aggravated Assault.
Guzman was booked at the Sandwich Police Department; he posted bond and was released with a Jan. 28 court date.
