A second person has now been charged in connection with an Armed Robbery that allegedly occurred in Bristol Twp., late last month.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said in a statement on Tuesday afternoon that charges have been approved against 22 year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick, of Rickard Drive in Bristol Township. She is charged with Class X felony Armed Robbery and Class 4 felony Mob Action and was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday.
The arrest follows charges filed against 25 year-old Daniel Fitzpatrick of the same address. He was charged with felonies for Armed Robbery, Aggravated Unlawful Restraint, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Mob Action.
As WSPY previously reported, on November 30th, deputies responded to the 1400 block of North Bridge Street in Yorkville for a report of 23 year-old female who advised she had been robbed. The victim stated the robbery had occurred in the 100 block of West Rickard Drive in Bristol Twp.
According to a report, the victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries where she was treated and released.
Both Fitzpatricks remain in custody at the Kendall County jail in lieu of bond, which was set at $200,000 with ten percent to apply, for both individuals.
The sheriff's office says the investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office or Kendall County Crimestoppers.
