A man was hospitalized in serious but stable condition, following a reported shooting on the west side of Aurora on Wednesday afternoon.
At 5:15 p.m., Aurora Police officers were dispatched to reports of a person shot in the 800 block of Oliver Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Aurora Fire Department paramedics transported the man to an area hospital, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
Police say that detectives are still investigating the circumstances of the shooting, but preliminary information shows that the shooting appears to be gang-related.
