At its Tuesday morning meeting, Kendall County Forest Preserve Commissioners argued about line items in the 2020-2021 Budget, which must be approved by November 30.

The 2020-2021 budget amount is $9,257,968, with a beginning deficit of $132,271.

Forest preserve commissioners Matt Kellogg and Amy Cesich have been critical of the proposed 2021 Budget.

Here's Cesich:

Forest preserve commissioner Audra Hendrix challenged Cesich and Kellogg on their tone during the discussion, Hendrix stating that the forest preserve Finance Committee was responsible for overseeing the budget and not Director David Guritz alone.

Cesich speaks first, then Hendrix.

For his part, Kendall County Forest Preserve Director Guritz said he will address Kellogg's and Cesich's concerns.

The Kendall County Forest Preserve Commission will meet to approve its budget on November 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the historic courthouse in Yorkville.
