Illinois State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred around 4:40 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Rt. 52 and Grove Rd. in Kendall County's Seward Twp.
According to the State Police out of Joliet, the driver of a vehicle on Grove Rd. allegedly pulled out in front of a semi trailer that was traveling on Rt. 52.
The semi struck the first vehicle on the driver's side.
The driver of the first vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
The Lisbon-Seward Fire Dept also responded to the accident scene.
State Police should be releasing more details of the accident some time on Tues.
