A 16 year-old male juvenile from Montgomery was hospitalized after he was struck by a vehicle while crossing Route 71, not far from Oswego High School on Wednesday.
Oswego Police say the accident occurred in the 4000 block of Route 71 near Wolf Rd. around 2:43 p.m.
According to a report, the juvenile did not cross the roadway at a cross walk. He was allegedly struck by a vehicle being driven by 40 year-old Amanda Richey of Oswego and police say the juvenile fell towards another vehicle, also causing damage to the third vehicle.
The juvenile was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Richey was cited in the accident for Improper Lane Usage and for Violating a Median.
The 31 year-old Oswego man driving the third vehicle was not cited, nor was he injured. Richey was also not injured.
