An Aurora man is facing 12 felony drug charges, following what authorities say was the result of an ongoing investigation into illegal drugs in Kendall County.
Kendall County Court records show the charges were filed this week against 19 year-old Jacob Marcucci of Wild Dunes Cir. The address is in the Kendall County portion of Aurora.
Illinois State Police officials say that on Wednesday around 6:45 p.m., ISP Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Agents assigned to the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team (KCPAT) arrested Marcucci.
Kendall County court records show four counts of Class X felony Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance were filed, as well as four counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and two counts of lesser felony versions of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The various charges indicate different amounts of LSD and Ecstasy were possessed and manufactured.
Marcucci was transported to the Kendall County Jail on $100,000 bond with 10 percent needed to bond out.
Jail records show Marcucci posted bond on Thursday and was released with an upcoming court date on Monday.
