The temperature in the WSPY listening area this week will feel more like mid-July than early September.

As Meteorologist Mike Spiel is reporting, by Tuesday, warm and humid conditions will be in the forecast with a high temperature of 87 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday will have similar conditions with temperatures around the same mark.

On Monday, temperatures remain a bit cooler with a high of 76 but muggy conditions will be accompanied by scattered showers and some isolated thunderstorms at times, mainly until mid afternoon.

Monday night turns humid. A risk for showers and storms remains in the forecast on Tuesday and Tuesday night. Wednesday could see scattered showers and storms possible in the afternoon.

Currently, Thursday looks dry. Precipitation could be in the forecast until Saturday when temperatures should cool back down into the mid to upper 70's.
