A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect between 6:00 a.m. and Noon on Wednesday for the WSPY listening area. 

Temperatures in the high 30s during the day and mild precipitation can be expected in the WSPY listening area this week.

As Meteorologist Mike Spiel is reporting on the forecast, it is expected to be mostly cloudy with drizzle and light rain, possibly beginning as light freezing drizzle and light freezing rain. The high temperature is expected to be 38 degrees.

Freezing drizzle may cause some slippery and hazardous travel, Wednesday morning.

Wednesday night will see temperatures fall to a low of 15 degrees with partly cloudy and breezy conditions expected.

The forecast for Thursday looks to be mostly sunny and cold with a high temperature of 25 degrees.

A chance for light snow enters the forecast on Friday and it will be partly cloudy and not as cold with a high of 35 degrees.

The National Weather Service reports that more wintry precipitation may be expected on Saturday.
