A public hearing for the renewed jurisdictional boundary line agreement with Sugar Grove will be held at the Plano City Council meeting.
After the hearing, the eight aldermen will vote on extending the agreement to the year 2040. The current boundary line with Sugar Grove was established 15 years ago and was set to expire in five years.
Cost-savings for the solar field contract between the city of Plano and Progressive Energy Group of Aurora will be discussed. The overall forecast, year one savings and year two forecast savings will be part of the presentation. Aldermen will decide to continue the contract.
Three separate votes will be cast for purchases totaling over a half-million dollars for two new squad cars for the Plano Police Department and a new truck for the Plano Public Works Department.
Increasing tonnage maximum limits for the Eldamain Road garbage and recycling transfer station is up for a vote also.
In the committee of the whole meeting at 7 p.m., the city council will explore a rotational outdoor siren for Neubert Park at a $22,500 cost.
