Governor J.B. Pritzker says that region two, which includes Kendall County, will be subject to more restrictions if the number of COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations continue to rise.
Prtizker spoke at the LaSalle County government complex in Ottawa Thursday. He says the restrictions, if imposed, could vary.
In LaSalle County, Pritzker said that house parties, trips to the store, and some work places have all led to the spreading of the virus.
A few weeks ago, the state was split into eleven regions. Some of the metrics being used to monitor the spread of the virus include test positivity rate, number of hospitalizations, and deaths.
