1,300 of 1,852 COVID-19 cases in Kendall County are considered to be in recovery, according to the Kendall County Health Department as of Saturday. 68 percent of confirmed cases in the county have been people under age fifty. There have been 26 deaths from the virus.
As of last week, DeKalb County had 1,350 confirmed cases and 36 deaths. 960 cases are fully recovered and 354 cases are still in recovery. 71 percent of cases in DeKalb County were in people under age fifty.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,462 new cases Sunday. There were fourteen new deaths. Illinois is up to 261,371 cases and 8,309 deaths. The statewide test positivity rate is at 3.7 percent.
