Bradley S. Hartman, age 62, of Surprise, AZ formerly of Sandwich, IL passed away suddenly on Monday, August 26, 2019 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. He was born on May 28, 1957 in Aurora, IL the son of Jack and Gayle (Gillespie) Hartman.

Brad was united in marriage to the former Victoria Baty and they spent many happy years together. He was employed by Catom Trucking as an over the road truck driver. Brad was a loving son, husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Tori Hartman of Surprise, AZ; his daughters, Kaylen (Christopher) Cartwright of Sandwich, IL and Kristina (fiancée Greg Valles) Hartman of Sandwich, IL; his step-children, Jacob Baty, Eddie Bridges, Jamie Smith, and Cassie Bridges; his grandchildren, Lydia and Lucy Cartwright, Brody, Gage, and Ella; his father, Jack Hartman of Villa Rica, GA; his brother, Bruce (Deborah) Hartman of Sandwich, IL; his sisters, Kori (Daniel) Snow of Villa Rica, GA and Kendal Hartman of Yorkville, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gayle Hartman.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 until 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory, 1275 S. Countyline Rd., Sandwich, IL. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brad Hartman Memorial Fund that will be donated to the Congenital Heart Defect Project.
