We did not know Marvel until we went to her farm for the “Stop the Sprawl way” picnics.

She was delightful.....what a community treasure!

Blessed be her memory.

I met Marvel in 2005 or so. She asked me to be her bug identification partner. For the next 15 years I met her a couple times a year as I sampled the stream in her back yard. She won the fight on keeping the highway out and I hope I gave her ammunition in her battle. She gave so much to the community and she cared for you all very much. The last years have been sad as she lost her memory.
