Raymond C. Dominick, age 79, of Glendale Heights, IL, formerly of Yorkville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 16, 1941 in Chicago, IL the son of Charles and Violet (Hayton) Dominick.

Raymond was united in marriage on October 6, 1962 in Franklin Park, IL to the former Patricia M. Carroll and they spent the next 47 happy years together until her passing on August 15, 2009. Mr. Dominick served his country proudly as a former member of the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the Yorkville American Legion Post #489 in Yorkville, IL. Raymond was a foster and volunteer for ARF, Animal Rescue Foundation in Wheaton, IL. He enjoyed playing bingo with his many friends at the Beecher Center in Yorkville, IL. Raymond was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Donna Hargreaves of Glendale Heights, IL, Debbie (Kevin) Summerville of Naperville, IL, and Duane (Julie) Dominick of Mint Hill, NC; and his grandchildren, Jocelyn (Davin) Fennewald, Jordyn (Nate) Meinen, Abigail Przybyla, Tiegan Przybyla, Brad Anderson, Stacy Anderson, and Trent Dominick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Violet Dominick; and his wife, Patricia Dominick.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 11:45 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.

Friends may visit from 8:30 until 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle, IL.
