Sally Curtis

Sally Starr (Touvell) Curtis, 68, passed away surrounded by her family on October 23, 2019 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL.

She is welcomed into Heaven by her loving parents, Walter and Helen Touvell as well as her best friend and sister, Sue (Touvell) Hawley. Sally is remembered and her life celebrated by her brother Jim (Louise) Touvell, her sister Jurine (Roy) Bartlett, her children, Stacy (Ed) Belmonte, Brandi (Damion) Moore, Jon (Liz) Curtis, grandchildren; David, Desirae, Savannah, Mike, Nikolas, and Lorali as well as great-grandchildren; Brooklyn, Brody, Ryker and Aubry.

Sally was born June 8, 1951 in Aurora, IL. She graduated from West Aurora High School and earned her beauticians license from Hair Professionals Career College. As an owner and operator of Custom, Cuts and Curls, Sally spent a majority of her life as a devoted hair dresser. In recent years, she was a stylist for Artistic Hair Design and Alden of Waterford.

Sally enjoyed camping, traveling and crocheting in her free time as well as spending time with her friends and family. She loved to cook and bake for her family, who could often be found around her kitchen table.

Her memory will be celebrated privately. In lieu of flowers family is asking for donations to be made in Sally’s name to the American Cancer Society (www.donate3.cancer.org) or the Autism Society (www.autism-society.org).
