Theresa Talley

Theresa Talley, 72, of Sandwich, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, July 15, 2019 at her home.  She was born October 4, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Frank and Harriet (Rutkowski) Nowak.  She married James E. Talley on October 12, 1968 in Chicago, IL.  Theresa was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Sandwich, IL.  She enjoyed traveling and shopping.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James of Sandwich, IL; two children, Jeffrey (Bethany) Talley of Aurora, IL and Kristi (Brian) Banaski of Romeoville, IL; six grandchildren, Brian Jr., Brandon, Dylan, Addison, Lauren, and Zachary; her siblings, Daniel (Mary) Nowak of Yorkville, IL and Delores (Alan) Smith of Sandwich, IL; her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Nowak of Deerfield, IL;  many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Nowak.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Sandwich, with Father Bernie Sehr officiating.  Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, IL.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Journey Care Hospice or the American Cancer Society.  For more information or to sign the online guest book, go to www.EighnerFuneralHomes.com
