The Oswego Panthers boys golf team advanced to the sectional next week at Village Links of Glen Ellyn as they shot a 313 just one stroke behind regional champion Wheaton Warrenville South who shot a 312.  Oswego East hosted the regional at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego. 

 

The Panthers were led by senior Nikolai Sardo who shot a team low 77 good for 3rd place overall.  Patrick Hranka had a 78, Blake Ginn 79, also Jack Rimington shot a 79, Ethan Albaugh fired an 86 and Riley Kiesewetter had an 88.  This is the first time Oswego has advanced their full team out of a regional. 

Yorkville had two golfers advance individually Ryan Waugh with a 77 and Jonathan Waugh with a 78.  The brothers were able to garner the low scores among the advancing individuals. 

Oswego East had three individuals advance for the Wolves as Camden Bonney fired an 81, Gavin Hjelle was next with an 82 and Mike Hugelier posted an 83.  Zac Uhm from West Aurora also advanced with an 84.  Metea Valley had four individuals advance as well led by Aman Shah who shot a 79.
