The Plano Lady Reapers softball team won the Interstate 8 North Division Conference Title this past season with a 9-5 conference mark. That was the first conference title for the Lady Reapers in the last 29 season. Plano finished the season with an overall record of 16-18. Plano set a new record for home runs in a season with 28 and also the single game record with 5 home runs.
Bri Lupa led the team during the I-8 season as she had a .571 batting average and was 8-5 pitching with an outstanding era of 2.81. Kaylee Read led the team in homers in the I-8 with 4 round trippers and a total of 8 extra base hits. Grace Stevenson hid .512 during the I-8 season followed by Julia Gonzalez with .486, Read .477, Jamie Accidentale at .412, LEXI Tisberger hit .381, Morgan Kee had a .325 I-8 mark and Emma Shores hit .325.
Overall on the season Read hit .481, with 12 homers, 34 rbi’s and 23 extra base hits, Lupa hit .438 with 4 homers, 14 XBH, and 26 rbi’s, Stevenson hit .408 a team leading 13 doubles and 17 XBH as she drove in 24 runs batted in. Gonzalez, Accidentale, Kee and Tisberger all hit above .300 as regular starters.
Congratulations to the Lady Reapers on their North Division title!!! Tisberger was the lone senior starter on this years team, but she is a huge loss on and off the field and courts at Plano High School!!
