The Yorkville baseball team wrapped up their 2019 baseball season recently with a 14-19 record overall and they were 4-8 in the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference.  The team battled the injury bug from day one it seemed like this season, but battled and played very good baseball and as always had a very tough schedule.

Several players were recognized with postseason awards.  Lets start with a list of 16 players who were named All-Conference All-Academic.  Nick Bevins, Cameron Caldwell, Bryan Corrigan, Kyle Koch, Jack Fisher, Elias Flowers, Jacob Friebus, Jake Giese, Colin Glass, Eric Hix, Brady Mispagel, Josh Reifsteck, Brett Rhodes, Jake Rybicki, Kyle Sommers and Justin Weis.  What a list, CONGRATS to all these junior and senior baseball players who were truly student/athletes.
