Note to Readers: Information presented here is obtained from the city police and sheriff's departments. Individuals listed in reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Kendall County deputies were called to the area of Millington Road and Rodgers Road in Fox Township Sunday for a report of a single vehicle crash. After an investigation, officers arrested 28-year-old Kristen A. Knight, of Hinckley. She is charged with DUI and was taken to the Kendall County Jail.


29-year-old Ramon Martin Gutierrez, of Plainfield, was arrested on Sunday by Kendall County Deputies and charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license. Gutierrez was also named in a Kane County warrant for driving with a suspended license.

Police were called to the area of Ridge Road, south of Route 126 in Na-Au-Say Township for a report of a person asleep in their vehicle. Gutierrez was taken to the Kendall County Jail.

LaSalle County Sheriff's Office: 

LaSalle County deputies arrested 28-year-old Ivan Nevarez-Corral, of Yorkville, early Sunday during a traffic stop at N. 48th Road and Gletty Road in Northville Township. Nevarez-Corral is charged with DUI and missing a stop sign. He was released with notice to be in court. 

Oswego Police Department:

Oswego police on Sunday arrested 48-year-old Devonya L. Jackson, of Oswego, from Majestic Lane. Jackson is charged with criminal damage to property. She was released with a notice to be in court.

Plano Police Department:

Plano police on Saturday arrested 40-year-old Marcia M. Schilling, of Yorkville, from the area of Route 34 and Waubonsee Drive. Schilling is charged with DUI, endangering the life the a child, and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Police say they were called about a silver Mitsubishi swerving across lanes on Route 34. The vehicle is said to have hit a curb and then parked at the BP Gas Station on Waubonsee Drive. Police located the vehicle where police say there was a water bottle filled with what smelled like an alcoholic beverage. Police also found Schilling's four-year-old daughter in the vehicle.

Schilling was taken to the Kendall County Jail and later posted bond to be released.


Plano police arrested 28-year-old Braden C. Clark, of Yorkville, on Saturday and charged him with retail theft. Police were called to the Casey's General Store Saturday night for a report of a retail theft. Police allege they located Clark with the stolen items on his person. He was taken to the Plano Police Department and was later released on bond with a court date.

Yorkville Police Department:

Yorkville police ticketed a juvenile for failure to yield following a two-vehicle crash at Route 47 and Corneils Road Friday. Police say the juvenile was heading east on Corneils Road when they went through a stop sign and hit a southbound vehicle on Route 47. Both vehicles were damaged. No one was hurt.
