Note to Readers: Information presented here is obtained from the city police and sheriff's departments. Individuals listed in reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court.

Aurora Fire Department:

Aurora firefighters put out a shed fire in the 200 block of N. Sumner Avenue on the city's east side. The shed was located at the rear of a home near a garage. The fire did spread to the garage, but was contained to the just the two buildings. Damage is estimated at $10,000. No firefighters were hurt. One civilian was treated on-scene after they passed out. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Kendall County deputies arrested 43-year-old George Taylor, of Montgomery, on Monday following a property damage accident in the 1900 block of Light Road in Oswego Township. Taylor is named an Aurora Police Department warrant for domestic battery. He's also named in a Will County warrant for missing court for driving with a suspended licence, and a DuPage County warrant for domestic battery. Taylor was also charged with driving with a revoked licence. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.

Plano Police Department:

Plano police were called to the 300 block of Alyssa Street for a report of domestic dispute Monday night. After an investigation officers arrested 45-year-old Michael P. Mitchell, of Plano, and charged him with two counts of domestic battery. During the investigation police also arrested 31-year-old Katherine A. Deinert, of Plano, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Both Mitchell and Deinert were taken to the Kendall County Jail.
