Oswego Police Department:

64-year-old Leroy Curtis Jr., of Oswego, was arrested by Oswego police Monday from the 200 block of Ashcroft Court. He's charged with domestic battery. Curtis was taken to the Kendall County Jail.


Oswego police on Monday arrested 22-year-old Symone T. Anderson, of Chicago, from the 300 block of Prairieview Drive. Anderson is charged with battery and criminal damage to property. She posted bond to be released with a court date.

Police say they were called to the area for a report of disturbance. An investigation led to the arrest of Anderson. One person was injured by refused treatment.

Yorkville Police Department:

Two were hurt in a motorcycle crash Sunday in Yorkville. Yorkville police say 34-year-old Peter Paganelis, of Lisle, was heading east on Cannonball Trail when his motorcycle left the roadway and hit a guardrail. Paganelis, and a passenger, were thrown from the vehicle. Both were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. Paganelis was ticketed for speeding, driving uninsured, improper lane usage, and violation of driver's license classification.
