Fifty years, they have stayed with the Oswego Police Department, serving and protecting its residents.
Oswego Police Chief Jeff Burgner and Deputy Chief Kevin Norwood were honored for 25 years each of service at the Oswego Village Board meeting.
But from the outside looking in, this is how two Oswego officials viewed them. First is Burgner honoring his second-in-command Norwood.
Then it was Burgner’s turn as Oswego Village Administrator Dan DiSanto said this about the chief.
As for their continuing service, as Burgner told one officer, who was celebrated for 15 years, “here’s to another 15.”
