A Yorkville man, and former Kendall County Technology Services employee, is facing charges of official misconduct for allegedly using a secure Kendall County network for personal use.
49-year-old Darryl Kollins, of Yorkville, is charged with multiple counts of official misconduct and computer tampering. The Kendall County Sheriff's Office says Kollins turned himself into police Tuesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest Monday. Kollins posted bond to be released.
Police didn't specify what the network was used for, but did say Kollins was off-duty at the time.
An investigation began in early September. Kollins was fired on September 24.
