The Kane County Health Department is seeking volunteers to work at COVID-19 vaccination clinics. Both those with and without medical experience are needed. Medical volunteers can administer COVID-19 vaccine shots and non-medical volunteers can help with jobs like registration, traffic control, and data entry.

Medical volunteers must have a current licence and some may need to undergo some additional training to administer vaccines. Non-medical volunteers must be good at working with the public and provide good customer service. All volunteers will need to undergo Medical Reserve Corps orientation and confidentiality training. Volunteers can serve for as much time as they can handle, there is no minimum requirement.

Volunteer opportunities are available at locations in Batavia, Aurora, and Elgin. There is more information on how to volunteer on the Kane County Health Department's web site by clicking here.
