Kendall County Coroner's Office

The Kendall County Board is looking for a consultant to conduct a needs assessment study of county facilities.

According to County Administrator Scott Koeppel, the county needs to look at its facilities including the county office building on W. Fox Street in Yorkville and at the government complex just off Route 34 in Yorkville.

Kendall County Board Chairman Scott Gryder says it's been over a decade since such an assessment has been done and that a lot has changed since then.

Board Member Amy Cesich says the county needs to look to the future to ensure that that it can operate efficiently and serve the people of Kendall County.

The county board agreed on Tuesday to begin the process of hiring a firm to complete the needs assessment. The hope is to have the firm lined up for approval by the county board mid-February.
