The Kendall County Health Department is offering scholarships to students in Kendall and Grundy counties.
Health Department Executive Director RaeAnn VanGundy says the department receives funding to serve both counties. The scholarships are meant to help those with a lower income who have a shown positive involvement in school or the community.
The scholarships can be used for things like books or tuition for any kind of higher education.
Applications are due by April 21. Applications have been given to high school guidance counselors to hand out and can also be picked up the Kendall County Health Department in Yorkville at 811 W. John Street or the Community Action Services Office at 1802 Division Street, Suite 602 in Morris.
