The Kendall County Health Department is reporting 3,163 new COVID-19 cases this week. That's up from last week's case count which was reported at 1,041. The county's seven day rolling average positivity rate is at 25 percent.

There were three new COVID-19 deaths reported in the county, bringing the county to 130.

82,158 people in the county, or 64 percent, are considered to be fully vaccinated. The county reports that there have been 32,659 booster shots given.

The Kendall County Health Department says if you or a family member tests positive for COVID-19, you might receive a text message from the Illinois Department of Public Health. The text will include a phone number to call to assist with contact tracing.
