Our sister station WLBK reports that a man is critically injured after his car hit a utility pole and tree in DeKalb on Wednesday. DeKalb Police say they believe the man suffered a medical issue on Wednesday morning before his car went off Franklin Street and hit the utility pole and tree.

The car then went back on the road before coming to a stop on the sidewalk on the other side of the street. The man - whose name hasn’t been released - was in critical condition after being taken to Kishwaukee Hospital.

No one was injured in a rollover crash that closed down part of Pleasant Street on Tuesday night. Police said a car being driven on Pleasant Street near 11th Street hit three parked cars before rolling onto its top. The driver was the only person in the car that rolled over. Police say he wasn’t injured. No one was in the parked cars.
