A man being held in the Kendall County Jail in a murder case is now facing additional charges.
Kendall County deputies were called to the jail for a report of a battery Tuesday night. After an investigation, 32-year-old Jaquarance Handley, of Joliet, was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer.
Handley, and co-defendant James E. Brown, of Aurora, are accused in a Boulder Hill shooting that left one woman dead and another seriously injured back in November. Brown is accused of firing the gun into a home from a vehicle and Handley is accused of driving the vehicle.
Handley is due back in court in September.
