While reviewing its city ordinances regarding roadside hawkers, the tradition of kids selling cold lemonade for 25 cents to $1.00 per cup was bantered about by Sandwich Mayor Todd Latham.

He shared his opinion with the Sandwich City Council this week.

But should the city of Sandwich license these sidewalk front-yard merchants and charge them a fee?

Now Mayor Latham is firm on one ordinance change.

Still undecided, what is the mayor’s favorite kool-aid flavor.  Could it be cherry, grape, or orange? Or these new flavors these days:  Jamaica Drink or Frescas Mandarina?
