During a discussion on computers and a technology policy, the Plano City Council was sidetracked over an issue that occurred one year ago when the FBI investigated alleged discrepancies of the city’s water pumped to water billed, tipped off by Plano Alderman Ben Eaton.
Earlier in the meeting, resident Neal Veen sought answers.
Later in the committee of the whole meeting, Eaton argued with Plano Mayor Bob Hausler.
Hausler issued this promise to Eaton about the FBI.
Attorney Grant advised the Plano City Council that no FBI investigation is ever closed, adding that those FBI files are always considered open.
