Mendota police on Friday arrested 26-year-old Tyler D. Gulley, of Mendota, from the 600 block of 6th Street. Gulley was named in a LaSalle County warrant for unlawful presence within a school zone by a child sex offender. Police also allege that Gulley defied police orders along with his arrest. As a result police also charged him with resisting arrest. Gulley was taken to the LaSalle County Jail in Ottawa where bond is set a $5,000 for the warrant arrest.
