A man reported missing from Virgil earlier this month has been found dead, according to the Kane County Sheriff's Office. The body of 30-year-old James Norris was found Saturday morning near the Great Western Trail in the area of Hanson Road in Campton Township. Police say that foul play is not suspected.
Norris was reported missing March 1 by his father who told police that James was erratic on the phone earlier in the day. Later on, it was learned that Norris's phone had been turned into the Elburn Fire Department.
Drones and a bloodhound had been used to look for Norris with no initial success. The search was resumed on Saturday morning when Norris's body was found at about eleven.
