The Village of Montgomery is starting its summer event season with the inaugural Montgomery Street Eats Festival on Saturday, June 12 from eleven to seven on the Mill Street Bridge. Kristina Nemetz is Communications Manager with the Village of Montgomery.
Nemetz says there will be plenty of room to order food and spread out in the downtown Montgomery area. It's one of the first big events put on by the village since the pandemic.
The village is asking people who know they are planning to attend to register online. There is no admission fee. The village's partner for the event, Brew Avenue Events, will also have a beer garden open.
Nemetz says there is plenty of parking in the downtown area. People are asked to bring their own chairs or blankets if they plan on staying in the area to eat.
