There were fewer new COVID-19 cases reported this week compared to last week in Kendall County.
The Kendall County Health Department is reporting 223 new cases this week compared to 289 cases the previous week. There were no new COVID-19 deaths reported, leaving the county's total at 118.
There have been 17,933 total cases in Kendall County since the start of the pandemic. The county's test positivity rate is at 5.8 percent. 59 percent of the county is considered to be fully vaccinated.
The DeKalb County Health Department is reporting 13,227 cases and 135 deaths. The LaSalle County Health Department is reporting 15,616 cases and 354 deaths.
