An Oswego man was arrested early Thursday morning in a Yorkville subdivision after a police chase that started in Plano.
Plano police say they tried to pull over a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Ricky Byrnes, of Oswego, for alleged speeding on Route 34 around midnight. Police said Byrnes fled.
Yorkville police received a call about a suspicious vehicle at around two in the morning in the 2300 block of Sumac Drive. It was reported that Byrnes had gotten into a rideshare vehicle.
Yorkville police spotted the rideshare vehicle as it was leaving the subdivision and pulled it over at which point Byrnes was arrested on an unrelated Carrol County warrant for driving with a suspended license.
Byrnes was taken to the Kendall County Jail. Kendall County court records show Byrnes is facing charges for reckless driving and fleeing from police.
