The Village of Oswego will welcome in the holiday season with several activities on Friday, December 3.
The annual Christmas walk will be happening in the downtown area from 4:30 to 8:30. Some activities happening include the Toyland Train, Santa's reindeer, the Silent Emergency Vehicle Light Parade, the annual lighting of the Christmas tree, and an ice sculptor. Many downtown merchants will also be open for business.
The tree lighting starts at 5:30 with the lighted parade beginning at 8:10.
Shuttles to the event will be available from the north parking lot of Oswego High School to Byline Bank, 10 S. Madison Street. Parking will also be available in the downtown area.
There will also be a holiday drive through event at Venue 1012 off Orchard Road on Friday, December 10 with illuminated first response vehicles, holiday scenes, and goody bags for the kids.
