Oswego Village President Troy Parlier is running for reelection as a Republican. If elected, Parlier will serve his second term as village president.
Parlier says under his leadership, Oswego is on the right financial track and has been investing in infrastructure around the village.
Parlier says also he's worked to improve public safety and has encouraged economic development.
Parlier says the village is not in a position to turn down housing developments that come with rental units.
Parlier is a junior high math and technology teacher.
He'll face off against village board member Brian Thomas in a primary election in February.
