President Joe Biden is set to appear in Chicago Thursday afternoon around one to discuss the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

ABC News reports that the president will appear with United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby who was one of the first business leaders to implement a vaccine requirement. The company now says it has a vaccine rate of 97 percent.

President Biden is also scheduled to appear at construction site in Elk Grove Village where construction company Clayco is set to announce its own vaccine requirement.

The visit was scheduled for last week, but was postponed while negotiations with lawmakers on infrastructure were ongoing.
