A Sandwich man was arrested on four in-state warrants for various offenses following an accidental burglar alarm in Plano on Thursday.
According to the Plano Police Department, officers responded to a business in the 100 blk. of E. South St. at around 12:27 p.m. to investigate.
Upon arrival officers met with an employee of the store, 35-year-old Omar Perez of Sandwich, and would determine the alarm was accidental.
Following an investigation, officers arrested Perez for warrants out of Kendall County, DuPage County, LaSalle County and Aurora, Ill.
The warrants included two for Failure to Appear for Traffic Offenses, one for Failure to Appear for DUI and one for Theft.
Officers transported Perez to the Kendall County Jail for booking.
