Kendall County Board members asked Sheriff Dwight Baird a number of questions about last Wednesday's fatal shooting in the 0-99 block of Sierra Road in Boulder Hill.

A woman in her 40's, Cassandra Chapman, was killed in the shooting that occurred at approximately 11:06 a.m. last Wednesday, and another woman her her 20's was hospitalized in critical condition.

26 year-old James Brown of Aurora and 31 year-old Jaquarance Handley of Joliet are being held in the Kendall County Jail; each with a $2 million bond.

At Tuesday's meeting, Kendall County Board member Elizoabeth Flowers asked Sheriff Baird if the shooting was drug related or just a dispute.

Sheriff Baird said that the help of the people who live along Sierra Road was invaluable.

 Kendall County Board member Robyn Vickers thanked the sheriff.

Handley will appear in court at 11:00 a.m. on November 23.  

Brown's next court date is set for November 30 at 9:00 a.m.
