The Kendall County Health Department is reporting two new COVID-19 deaths in the county. Total deaths in the county from the virus are at 109.
There were 286 new COVID-19 cases reported last week. That's up from 163 reported the previous week. There have been 16,770 cases in the county.
The health department reports that 57 percent of the county's eligible population has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The health department is also reminding people to get their annual flu shot which is recommended for everyone six months and older. The health department recommends that everyone get their flu shot by the end of October.
