Congresswoman Lauren Underwood's Office says that Wolf's Crossing Road in Oswego has been included in the INVEST America Act that is slated to be considered by the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure this week. Underwood is requesting $1.5-million for the project. Improvements include a roundabout at the intersection of Wolf's Crossing and Douglas roads, the widening of Wolf's Crossing Road, and sidewalks and street lighting. The project has received broad support from local governments and state lawmakers.
Other projects on the list include improvements to 143rd Street in Plainfield from Route 59 to Route 126 and new traffic signals in the city of DeKalb.
